Exposició "The Green Fuse" Nigel Tan Fleming
L'escultura tracta de combinar un dels grans poemes de la literatura anglesa amb algunes de les paraules més poderoses escrites pel biòleg Charles Darwin. "The force that through the green fuse drives the flower" (“la força que a través del fus verd impulsa la flor”) va ser escrita pel poeta gal·lès Dylan Thomas, el qual conté sorprenents i poderoses idees sobre el món biològic. Juntament amb aquest poema, l'escultura també recull l'admiració de Charles Darwin davant la increïble inventiva de la naturalesa, en un intent de situar Darwin en context i connectar-lo amb l'epifania de Thomas.
